Soho Self-Publishing Services was established in 2022 as a division of JAV Publishing House Limited, headquartered in Trinidad and Tobago. In 2022, the division transitioned into an independent entity. In 2025 it was renamed Soho Self-Publishing Services in honor and memory of its founder's mother, Sohodrah, who passed away in 2023.
